Sophie Rochas is a beautiful rose variety. This variety was cultivated by Delbard in France and introduced in 2017. In Japan, it is known as ソフィーロシャス (Sophie Rochas).

The plant reaches a height of 80 cm, with blooms measuring 10–12 cm in diameter. Its soft pink petals have a delicate purple-tinged serrated edge, resembling a ballerina’s skirt. The loosely structured blooms have an airy, peony-like appearance and exude a refined citrus fragrance. Sophie Rochas is a repeat bloomer, continuously producing new buds and flowers from May until late autumn. However, the petals are thin and delicate, making them sensitive to sun and rain.

This variety grows as an upright shrub with rapid growth, and its branches have very few thorns. The deep green, glossy leaves contribute to its neat and elegant appearance. Additionally, Sophie Rochas exhibits strong disease resistance, making it one of the easier rose varieties to cultivate.
