Sheherazade is a unique shrub rose bred by Takamura Takuji in Japan and introduced in 2013. Also known as Princesse d’Orient and KIMteller, this variety is named after the legendary storyteller Scheherazade from One Thousand and One Nights.

This rose reaches a height of 80–120 cm, making it an excellent choice for garden beds, mixed borders, and potted cultivation. The flowers are 8–12 cm in diameter, featuring deep pink to red petals with subtle purple undertones. The petal edges are pointed and ruffled, resembling peony-like blooms with an elegant, layered texture.
