Product Description:
Republique de Montmartre, also known as "Rose of the Nation's Angel," was bred by Delbard (France, 2011). Delbard introduced this variety in France in 2012 under the name "République de Montmartre."
The "Rose of the Nation's Angel" grows to a height of 180 cm and is a semi-climbing shrub rose. It can be cultivated as either a shrub rose or a climbing rose, making it suitable for trellises or arches. The flowers are red with a velvety texture and emit a medium fragrance. The blooms are vibrant crimson, reaching up to 10 cm in diameter, with a full, cup-shaped form. The color is richly layered, with darker red outer petals and bright red inner layers.
The plant features glossy, disease-resistant foliage. Gardeners have noted its exceptional resilience, thriving even in shady and poorly ventilated areas without succumbing to diseases or pests. It continuously produces buds, demonstrating its robust and vigorous growth. The rose is heat-tolerant, shade-tolerant, and even the lower branches produce flowers.
Due to translation variations, it is also referred to as "République de Montmartre."
