Product Name: Highgrove

Product Description:
Highgrove was bred by Colin P. Horner (UK, 2005) and introduced in the UK by Peter Beales in 2009 under the name "Highgrove." It is also known as HORnightshade.

The "Highgrove" rose, also translated as "Highgrove," "Haigerui," or "Haigeluo," is a climbing rose that reaches a height of 240–300 cm and a width of 90 cm. The flowers are 8–10 cm in diameter, with 26–40 petals. They are pomegranate red with yellow stamens, displaying shades of deeper or lighter red. The blooms have an old-fashioned, slightly irregular shape with wavy petals and a light citrus fragrance. Under optimal water and nutrient conditions, the plant produces an astonishing number of flowers. It blooms profusely in spring and autumn, with some flowers appearing in other seasons.

The "Highgrove" shrub is very thorny, with deep green, glossy foliage and good disease resistance.

This variety was specifically bred for Prince Charles of Wales. Highgrove House is the private residence of Prince Charles.
