Hearts, developed by Jan Spek Nurseries and introduced in 2006, is also known by the names “Wanted,” “SPEfire,” and “Red Jumping Hearts.” It is often referred to as “红色心跳梅拉” in some regions, but there is no connection to the variety “Red Melania.”
Hearts grows to a height of 70-90 cm and produces flowers with a diameter of 10-13 cm. The blooms have more than 30 petals and feature a deep red color. The flowers are unique, with a striking heart-shaped form, earning the name “Hearts” for their distinctive appearance. The petals are rich and full, and the fragrance is light and pleasant. The flowers last for 7-9 days in a vase.
This variety thrives in sunny conditions and is resistant to diseases, making it an excellent choice for various landscapes and gardens.
