The Cymbeline rose, bred by Austin in 1982 and introduced under various names such as AUSlean, AUSteen, and Cymbeline, is a classic rose known for its charming color gradient and lush flowers.
The plant grows to a height of 120–150 cm, with blooms measuring about 10–12 cm in diameter. The flowers feature a soft, yet strong fragrance with a blend of light red and white shades that evolve into pink as they mature. The blooms are made up of about 35 petals each and are spread out in a typical rose shape.
The leaves are deep green and semi-glossy with few thorns. This variety has a moderate disease resistance, though it is susceptible to black spot disease.
