Product Name: Crown Princess Margareta

Product Description:
Crown Princess Margareta is a variety bred by David CH Austin in the UK in 1990, and introduced in 2000. It is known by the alternate names AUSwinter or Crown Princess Margaret.

This rose grows to a height of 120 to 360 cm, with blooms that measure 8–12 cm in diameter. The flowers are large, cup-shaped or slightly flat, with apricot-yellow color that deepens as the flower matures. The blooms are dense and can feature up to 120 petals. As the flowers open, the color transitions and fades over time. The blooming cycle lasts 5–7 days.

This rose has an upright growth habit, with slightly pendulous branches. It has moderate disease resistance, though it is still prone to black spot and powdery mildew, especially in the autumn.

The name Crown Princess Margareta was chosen in honor of Sweden’s Crown Princess Margaretha, who was the granddaughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf and was an experienced artist. Additionally, this rose was introduced by Austin Roses in 2016 with a resemblance to the Bathsheba rose.
