Benjamin Britten is a stunning English shrub rose bred by David C.H. Austin in 1992 and introduced by Austin Roses in 2001. Also known as AUSencart, this variety is named in honor of the renowned British composer, conductor, and performer Benjamin Britten.

This robust shrub reaches a height of 120–180 cm, forming a loose, rounded structure with semi-glossy, deep green foliage. The blooms measure 8–10 cm in diameter and feature approximately 40 petals per flower. Initially, the buds open as a deep cup-shaped bloom in brick red to orange-red hues, gradually unfurling into a slightly looser, semi-cupped form. As the petals mature, they take on a rich orange undertone, enhancing the overall vibrancy of the flower.
