Peace is a hybrid tea rose bred by Francis Meilland in France in 1935 and introduced in the U.S. by Conard-Pyle (Star Roses) in 1945. Its large, fragrant blooms open in soft yellow center tones edged in rosy pink, often measuring up to 6″ in diameter. The plant grows vigorously with glossy dark green foliage and repeats its flushes from spring through fall. Known for its resilience, garden presence, and cut-flower appeal, Peace™ remains one of the most celebrated roses in history.
